DVD-5 data is recorded on 1 side of the disc on 1 layer12 cm DVD-5 can store up to 4.7 GB, 8 cm - 1,4 GB.
DVD-9 data is recorded on 1 side of the disc on 2 layers12 cm DVD-9 can store up to 8.54 GB, 8 cm - 2,6 GB.
DVD-10 data is recorded on the both sides on one layer12 cm DVD-9 disc can store 9.4 GB data capacity.
